Ian, managed to sort some brakes.
However got a couple of other bits I may need. Will make a list and contact you.
Yes Pow as Mark says, you fit a portable Garmin within the dash for a cheap quick satnav mod that looks factory fitted.

How do you gain access to the SD card for map/firmware updates? SD card extender?
I'm guessing it's a lot easier to do this that retrofit the vaux sat nav?

Dom you would have to pop the centre console out unless there is such a thing as an extension chord for an SD card?
Far easier than retrofitting a proper one

all ive done with the nav is have the usb power cord go through the glove box, that way you can just unplug it and plug it in to the laptop for updates
I dont have an mfd
the thing under the vents is a coin tray and cup holders

If I was you I would consider keeping the turbo rims, they suit the car and with some subtle lowering look smart
Plus, I bet 17" tyres are super cheap

Turbo rims will be kept but they are severely kerbed and one of them is in need of a refurb as the MOT had an advisory for damage to the bead rim.
Will get the 18"s when I can find a set. It needs tyres soon so will get them soon.
MOT first, got some calipers that turned up today and just waiting on my wiper motor to be delivered. Fit that lot and bung it through the MOT

Ah, same as my original TT rims. Would of never changed them but they where curbed and corroded and the cost of a full refurb + 4 new tyres just meant buying a different set made more financial sense.

Yeah tyres aren't much more for 18"s, especially as there are so many bargains on eBay for part worns!
Tom wouldn't sell me his
