what poundage springs did you go for and have you got them wound all the way up?
also, with the rears did you have to take a hammer to your inner arch?
i have to use them on the rear cos the spring seats are rottern lol

Uprated 300lb fronts and normal 160lb rears. Drivers side rear arch needed tapping in a couple mm for clearance. I have my rears set 12 threads from the bottom.

What poundage are people using on the rears? Mine came with 160lb springs but were horribly creaky on the trip to the pod at the weekend on the back and urban roads. I even turned up the dampening to 6 clicks which didn't really help much.
Considering going back to springs and shocks on the rear if i can't sort this.

I thought that's what it was but thery are not touching the body. Could having no helper springs cause this?

Never heard any noise from mine at all if the springs are to short maybe
Mine has helpers in so could be the cause

To me it sounds like the spring is doing all the work and the piston is not doing as it should.

I'd contact GAZ as they shouldn't be making that noise.

It looks to me like there's no damping action going on there at all Mark.
Seems as though the shock absorber is fucked. Valving could have failed.

Found the problem, the coil spring is fouling the body of the coilover just at the top so fitted the helper spring and made 100% sure it was sitting center on the adjuster platforms and it's still sounds like its fouling
