Didn't even look that close. I get closer to oncoming cars passing on a tight Road so don't know what he's complaining about. Cyclist wanker.

typical cyclist

until one of those car doors opens because a majority of car drivers don't look for a bike when they open a door.

could happen anywhere though.
I'd rather be hit by the door of a stationary car than risk being hit by a car moving at 30mph

highway code states to keep left so why do the feel the need to cycle in the middle? especially when they are slower than the vehicles around them?

Don't get me wrong, the guys a dick, the Highway Code also states a car overtaking must give at least as much room when overtaking as when overtaking a car.
I ride too a fair bit, I also drive a lot so understand the real world, I don't get worked up when people cut close to me but then I give bikes room when I drive.
I do ride away from parked car doors when in streets like this, hitting a stationary car door isn't my idea of fun!

Cite your sources. (You will have difficulty doing this).

But anyway, it's always the ones covered in cameras who seem to manage to get themselves into trouble. I wonder why that is..?

Once moving you should

keep to the left, unless road signs or markings indicate otherwise. The exceptions are when you want to overtake, turn right or pass parked vehicles or pedestrians in the road

That rule's just telling you that we drive on the left in the UK and to keep in the left lane on the motorway unless overtaking. There's no rule saying cyclists must sit in the gutter.

Its a rule to say anyone on the road should keep left.

So cyclists should also keep left

He was keeping left, otherwise the car wouldn't be able to pass on the right.

Highway code says different.

You should

look well ahead for obstructions in the road, such as drains, pot-holes and parked vehicles so that you do not have to swerve suddenly to avoid them. Leave plenty of room when passing parked vehicles and watch out for doors being opened or pedestrians stepping into your path

Roadies are always arseholes.

Btw for anyone else that hates them flinging the passenger door open when they're passing on the inside in traffic is amazing amounts of fun

Potentially hurting someone for no reason, and damaging your vehicle. Lose lose.

So is that a Highway Code reference? If it is the Highway Code serves only as a guide and not following those guide lines is not an offence.

Also what you called the offence is not actually what it's called under the road traffic act 1988.

If you're going to be a smart arse try and do it right

A guy once opened a car door whilst I was driving past. He done the usual crap, announcing I was speeding and all sorts (it was a tiny road and I was looking for a space, so no, I wasn't) then told me he's a trainee lawyer and will sue me

Never thought anything more of it until just now. Cool story bro.

The cyclist here is an utter cunt, determined to make good YouTube video's and almost running pedestrians over in pursuit of the car.

The driver is a complete psychopathic nutjob with a screw loose.
