Completely agree with this, cant fault them for all the road miles and a couple of tracks days I used them for before switching to track day tyres. Still have a set for taking the car to track/wet use.
Regarding how long they last, I had a part worn set that was used while my bmw was a daily driver, they lasted about a year of normal use and a couple of 2hr trackscotland nights, changed them for a new set just before they were at the wear markers.

Swore by Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3s, they stopped production so I moved to Hankook V12 Evo's, also good until they stopped them and made the V12 Evo2, crap, so now i've bought Bridgestone Potenza RE002 and i'll be finding out next month what they're like.

Best I can do is link you to the EU ratings, but I suspect neither that nor real world experience will be good enough to convince you of anything other than the conclusion you have come to by looking at a photo on the internet.

Nobody regulates those numbers. Manufacturers can pretty much put what the want on them as they "test" them themselves.

Got a set of Nankang NS2R in the garage on my old wheels that I use for track duties etc.
I think its between the usual goodyears but in their new guise or try these kumhos. Probably going to sell the car as soon as I find a replacement anyway

no mate, wet grip B same as an ad08 Yokohama, fuel efficiency is an E so that's better than the Yokohama and they are cheaper. In fact even then noise level and noise class is better. Bargain if you ask me. Just need your card details and I can get them to you for tomorrow.

Pilot Super Sports if they are road only. Best tyres I have used for our climate.
Side walls are bit too soft for track.

I'd recommend sticking with Goodyears and getting the Assymetric 2's, had them on my R32 and thought they were great. Great grip in all conditions and did about 18k miles before needing a new set! My brother also got a full set for his 350z to replace his Pilot Sports, he thinks they transformed how it drives, plus they were cheaper. They're now my go to tyre for whichever car I have.
