Got any pics of this one Kyle? Good to see 'real world' ones of the varied colours...

Yeah man.

We had to get the poverty wheels (details in Steve's thread), but they're growing on me.

First one I've seen with the standard 17s, not sure on them.

Google Photos are winding me right up!

Been using them for years, Impreza project thread album has over 1000 pictures in it and recently for some reason, only people actively signed into Google can view them when I [img] tag em.

Been out and washed the car this morning (she posed for a bit with a microfibre for her facebook page )

Got some better pics out of it anyway... I still need some interior pics, it feels weird saying this about a vauxhall - but the interior in this car is what makes it feel better than the Fiesta and even Polo offerings in the same class. IMO.

My thoughts on the wheels:
If given the choice, I would have got the 18's - however I'm torn on this topic big time. I hate the style of wheel that has risen to popularity with manufacturers in the last few years, like black wheels and diamond cut faces. They remind me of the Ripspeed offerings in the Halfords window 10years ago. That said, if you parked two Corsa VXRs next to each other, the 17's which we've got really do look bland.

The ride quality IS much better with the 17's though, either that or the one we test drove with 18's was sprung/damped harder.

That actually looks quite a sleeper. I wouldn't know it was a vxr if i didn't see the badge. Bet it rides much better on 17's and in my old age, I prefer ride handling and comfort to how it looks in a car park.

You compare the interior with the Fiesta, but you didn't mention the basic design of the Fiesta Mk7 came out mid way through 2008, so it's a 7 year old design. The next model will be massively better.

Doesn't look too bad on the 17s.

The blue is so much nicer than Arden blue too.

Only the back of it looks in any way like it's the 'performance' model, but if you had it parked side by side with the non-VXR Corsa's i'm sure you could pick some other details out on the front of it that are different.

It's just them 17s really. They should have made the same wheel just a size smaller.

Get some 20s off the insignia on it. Think they are 20s, can't find a picture of them.
