Actually although not the reason lion court were very helpful in allowing us to delay the fitting of the carpets for a week after we get the house so I can do the wiring. Persimmon said no when I asked that question

Nice House that, looks lovely from the outside.
Is that the girlfriend's mum checking everywhere is safe for her little princess?

No.
Here are some more images from the visit to meet the site manager who showed us round the house.
Here is some of the carpets and floorings we have chosen, the vinyl stuff we will probably end up replacing with kardean or something.
The tile in the ensuite
The kitchen - cant wait to change that splashback
Some of the views - obviously all the fencing will be gone when we move in, and grassed etc
Some of the outside shots

Yeah mine does as well. What is your opinion on the oven? I couldn't hack that tbh. Would annoy me and make me want to get them to re do the kitchen or I will buy elsewhere.

Looks nice. What's that big walled thing in the garden? Garage or a house?
I'd go for grey carpets over beige. From personal experience, grey carpets don't look as shitty after a year, compared to beige ones.

Any plans to develop on that land where the fence is
That's a huge space and I would be making sure it's not in future phases
Looks nice

No plans on the bit you see out the windows further up is some bungalows which is only in potential stage as they haven't got planning permission yet. But they aren't touching the bits you see out the window

your builder might not have plans for it but have you made sure it's not on the proposed building allocations by the council? You may end up getting some completely different looking houses right in front of you that look out of place.

No this developer owns all that land. I suppose there is a risk they could build on it at some point but nothing imminent or planned
Mortgage is 720pm
Fixed 2 year 1.7% Look for a new deal after that
