I'm going Germany next week in a cav I picked up for £200 about a month ago. Doesn't really matter what you take just have basic maintenance up to date. You'll probably do a couple of thousand miles at most and sit at 70 most of way. The ring is just as good in anything probably better I'd much rather go round in something that owed me a few £ rather than 10k.

Car - £210
Month’s tax - ~£20
Week’s insurance - ~£100

Then minus any resale or scrap value of the car. Divided by three people that’s not very much.

Not sure where abouts you are going but if you are going to be taking toll roads the costs soon add up, I think we spent a few hundred Euros on tolls over 6 days.

Most insurance comes with at least 30 days euro cover nowadays anyway. And yep, aware of toll roads. Again, it all helps that the costs will be split three ways.

Fook that, having owned a couple of the PD130 cars they will be the ones that break down.
