m8, theres 0.2 seconds in it to 60 between gti and the normal 172, there aint much in it

autocar on 30th april did a hot hatch test, and around rockingham (inside track bot the oval) the 106gti's best lap was less than 1 second slower than the clio cup and even the CTR!!!

now GET 2 FUCK with your disbelieving

matty u know nothing have u ever driven a 106 gti? i have driven both the normal 172 is abosolutely no quicker then the 106 and my modded 106 kept with a 172 Cup ask richy he was in the car and i know the kid, his clio cup was slower up the strip then mine but i believe that was cos he culdnt drive it up the strip properly. Top gear tested the 106 alongside the 172 and the 106 out performed the 172 around a track. Please STFU with matters u know nothing about

yes, the point is a 172 and cup are different cars... granted a cup would beat a 106, and probably steves for that matter, however there would not be alot in it. Handling all clio's are crap... heavy engine in a forward wheel drive car... 106gti anyday, good all rounder. Only thing I can fault is lack of features in the car, like me aircon dont I chris other little things.

naturally aspirated not non-aspirated. if it was non-aspirated there would be no engine

focus rs will not piss on a CTR

my m8 with a CTR raced an rs n sed there wasnt much in it, rs had the grunt but ctr was better rnd corners ans at top end
