I was like this before hand, but then when I got there I started shitting it big style. I think I saw 1 other 1.2 go up all day. Thankfully I went up against a chick in a 1.6 GSI and kicked her arse (well beat her by like 0.01 seconds)

Learnt the tricks now so next time should be better - e.g. walking my car to the start with the bonnet up rather than driving it in the queue and making it overheat! and taking my light out! to improve air flow hehe.

And I will win big time

Anyone who is interested seriously list your name below, I will make some enquiries and see if I can get a big airfield or something so we can have a fun (legal) day of speeding

that'd be ace if we had a airfield to ourselves! e.g. 1/4 miles, top speeds and major drifting!!!

how would we time the 1/4 miles though???

Airfield would be cool, depending on the layout you could possibly mark out a little trackish type thing (bit like top gear track), then time people going round this as well - using classes etc...

so you have 1/4 mile challenge, top speed challenge, and track challenge - for each class.

dunno about timing and stuff, but all sounds interesting.

Paul, not sure would have to contact Redline via Lee M or something - They know companys that have the gear to time these sort of days, then we can sort a deal with them. Obviously if loads are up for it it might only cost us a few quid each to get them over
