yes they are, the engine in the older ka's escorts and fiesta's are basically a modified escort engine made nearly 25 years ago.

Hovever i think this is only aplies to the 1.3 (OHV?) engines and not the newer 8v duratcech.

They do look nice but more of a womans car if you ask me. The standard 1.3 is nippy, light car so can shift.
