if its still not working,
Get btow to report to BB faults team. This way you have a case open and reported or try and get a ref number outta them so you got it logged on their system.
i would check for you but can only check the isp i work for ADSL connecctions.
unfortunately there are no guarantees with ADSL as normally terms of service mention this when you sign up. When reading went down boy was i busy Dunno what BT are up to lately but they are upgrading alot of exchanges to allow further distances to allow ADSL

i already did both, i got a reference number, and because i have tried this end with 3 different OS's, they admitted that it is probably a fault on their side, and said they would send an engineer to look at the exchange. Ive been on broadband over 2 1/2 years now, almost forgot how bad modems actually are!!

just drove down the road and saw a BT van by the exchange, maybe they are trying to fix it... Still not working though
