Actually my corsa probably hits 60 in 9 seconds, maybe quicker since i can keep up with my dad in his ST170. and that does it in 7.9. and why would you want to go any faster than 100mph on english roads? I just wrote out a slightly changed but longer version of that, but decided not to post it, but yes,
They lack torque, and as far as i know and have heard from numerous peopel, can be beaten by a 106 GTi over 1/4 mile.

indeed. A corsa 1.6 on SBD TP164 kit will thrash the integra to 60 and probably the 1/4 too

You dont need torque when you rev high
What a load of shite - beaten by a 106gti !!!
Standard these cars (Integra's) have pulled 14.5 1/4's.
0-60 in 6.2 seconds standard!
You have to rev them to the limiter to get them to go, but driven right they are

JDM 98 spec manifold
Carbon Fibre bonnet

Standard 2.0litre 16v on 15"s does it in 14.7 , thats only 155bhp
Mine hower does it in 15.2  currently

You've got to remember the ITR has the torque multiplying effect of low gear ratios and REV's.
Do some research on these before posting shite like '106gti can beat these things'
Remeber that an Integra Type R is FASTER than a Civic Type R. And I dont think that the 106Gti will beat one of them.

If you wanna talk about modded cars then im only too happy to bring up the Modded integras doing 12 second 1/4's..
14's arnt quick, but the Integra is not just about speed. Its the whole driving experience..
Drive one and you'll love it more than any other car..
Limited Slip diff.. Pulls higher G force than a WRX impreza (in the dry) - IE corners faster!
Lightened everything, no sound deadening. revs to 9k, Strut braces Stadard, Recaros, Momo steering wheel.. Brakes that will outbrake almost all cars on the road.
