no one believed me till i showed em
theyre 1.0 16v twin cam injection. better than a 1.2 8v.

i know. just means wider gear ratio or something. but for a 1litre its pretty fast. not many 1litres out ther that are as swift as the micra. i drove a yaris vvti, that felt much slower.

Ok their minging, my m8 has been driving his mothers around for a year now and all hes done is chucked a k&n pannel filter and chucked on 15s lol
He told me the other week it can do 60mph in 2nd gear, i laughed in his face. He told me to jump in his car then, there he was doing 60mph in 2nd lol!
These must be the fastest 1.0s i swear lol.
They are quite fast for 1.0 16v. They look really bad though and what hap to the clutch and brake pedals? They are so soft. They are not quite as fast as my 1.1 106 though, it does 35 in 1st and 70 in 2nd. Hehehe

I like my clutch nice and hard. The clutch in Micra's are for old people.
I only tried it once to see what i could get the car to do. Got just over 100 MPH down the motor way. I'm serious, i got it to do 70 in 2nd gear. It might have done more but i got scared and the car stunk of Petrol. I try to stick to the speed limit and drive around nice a easy. Fuck other drivers, they can kill themselves if they want.

60 in 2nd would only be useful if you were actually driving a quick car and doing a 0-60 timing... saves you a gear change anyway...

Well why don't you find yourself a new model Pug 106 (1.1) that has been looked after and try it for yourself.

well why do you write countless posts on how crap your 106 is ?
isn't it in the garage at the moment getting your gearbox and clutch fixed at 36000 miles.... really well maintained and looked after that one
i still don't believe it will do 70 in 2nd. i think you miss-read your speedo.
