If you took the effort to break into a showroom you wouldn't just scratch a couple of cars I agree with Phil, they're lying.

I believe the car is unlucky.

Go find another one.

They are selling 52 plate Coupe Turbo's at Slough trade sales for £12,995

Loads of colours and maximum of 7,000 miles.

Go have a look mate.

They have an open showroom. It would be easy enough for my gran to break in, probably kids.

I am inspecting the damage, having a look tonight.

Bloke from the garage has just called again and apparently the scratches aren't as bad as he first thought. They have tried polishing the scratches and most have come out. Apart from two slightly deeper ones.

He said the car is booked into the bodyshop and wont cost me a penny, they will spray the whole roof and make it as good as new.

First of all I said I wasn't really intersted in the car anymore as it is not how I first viewed it, so would like my deposit back. He more or less begged me not to and said how about we reduce the price a little. I say how much and he said £500. I wasn't going to ask for that much but as he said it so quickly I said £500 and an irmscher grill and I'll still have it.

He said yes.

Also, I'm picking it up at 6.30 tonight!

Then just got to take it back to them next wednesday to get the roof done, they said that it will take 4 days but he promised me that I won't have to go without a car for those days.

i tell you what my mate bought a new focus, now when he went to look at it it had one of them stands on the roof of the car, you know showing the price, well as the sales bloke pulled it off, it had lost its rubber feet and scratched 2x 2ft long scratches into the roof right down to the metal. So they had to respray that roof, that may have been what happened to yours.

Also make sure they dont do a fade out job, or whateva its called make sure the paint is perfect, cos when they did my mates he just so happened to b a sprayer as a living, and cud tell it was a shit job n refused to take the car until the sprayed it proper n put it in the oven thing etc.
dont let em fook u Patrisha

edited due to shoddy grammar etc

UPDATE

I went to view the car last night at 6.30 as planned to see how bad the damage was and to be honest it was practically fuck all! A couple tiny scratches, probably wouldn't of noticed it if I wasn't told. Anyway, showed me round the whole car to make sure I was satisfied and took the bankers draft off me but said that they wouldn't be paying it in until after they had sprayed the roof and I was COMPLETELY satisfied with the end result. Knocked £500 off the price and they are going to fit an irmscher grill whilst it is in the bodyshop next week.

After all this, I think they handled it well and made this customer happy.

Oh, and it is sitting on my drive right now.
