R1's dont make me laugh
no way r they that quik 0 - 60.
R1'S are well over rated, ive ridden one and gotta say it was most dissappointing, one of the last bikes id go for, id prefer an R6 over an R1 any day.
as for hayabusa turbos, none are factory standard, as far as im aware, ill ave alook round sum sites beardy m8 for ya and c wot ican find.
altho i wud stress m8 that 180bhp is very very very fast i kno u kno it but might be best to pik up a 600 or 750 first,
maybe a SUZUKI GSX-R600 (LIKE MINE) OR the 750, as both are brilliant bikes. still extremely fast bikes!!!!!!!!!!!!!
mine is basically race tuned, weighs 147kg's, mine will embaress most big bikes, ie 1000's,
and its easily done, ive spent around
2.5k on it and its aworld apart from standard.
even slight mods like a full race system (illegal of course) and a filter unlike cars makes a shit loadsa difference
heres a list of bikesto look at first m8 and get sum test drives,
Suzuki GSX-R600, 750, 1000,
Honda CBR600, 900 FIREBLADE,
Ducati 748, 996, 999, parts very pricy
Honda SP1 OR 2 V-TWIN
Suzuki TL1000,
Suzuki SV650/ 650s, 1000
Kawasaki Ninja 600, 750, 900, 1200
Aprillia RSV - ojc's choice
Honda Blackbird
Honda VFR800
Honda 600 hornet.
thats just a few off the top of my head m8 check em out,
i dont trust myself at all on a hayabusa, dont think i ever will.
u got an insurance quote yet?

heresa few sites m8
www.uponone.com
www.gixxer.com (sound bunchof lads loadsa help)
but i will say m8 dont cut corners wen it cums to helmets and safety gear only get the best
but also prepare yaself for wanker drivers who wont let ya past and try and try and race ya. WANKERS ULL NEVER WIN SO DONT FUKING BOTHER!!!!!!!!
and white lines!!!!!!!!!! dont go on em especialy dont turn on em!!!!!!!!!!or ull be on ya arse,
and also prepare ya self if u get in wiv a group to c sum nasty crashes
witnesses 2 very very nasty ones both died.
not trying to put u off, as id choose a bike over acar anyday !!!!!!!!!!!

id disagree with that, as the majority of bikes like to race, like the copper on one who passed me at 140 waving.
also disagree that cars will never win either

when the TT was on last year, my mate raced bikes across the mountain bit of the TT course in his Evo
was quite funny & scarey at the same time seeing as there is only a wire fence between u and a 100ft drop down the side of the mountain in places

The new honda blackbird is gonna be quicker than the busa, its a hyper-VTEC and is only 1200cc ( I think )
BUT, another word of advice, passing your direct access test and jumping straight onto a hyabusa is just STUPID!,
do what the others said and get a smaller bike first, if you haven't even ridden a bike over 125cc you'll find a 600/750cc plenty quick enough.
Goodluck if you decide to go through with it.

blackbird will be better top end as thats 200+
but its a sports tourer and not an ultimate sports
like the busa

why ???
got a quote for a Aprilia RS250 of £213 FC
i pay like £1500 on the corsa now?
everyone says do not just jump on a busa and go, as u will kill your self, BUT a bike will only go as fast as u make it.......?
and i did use to own alot of fields bikes for 80's to 500's
so its not as if i am justing on a bike after a few weeks of riding. i have had bikes for years......

£213fc for an RS250!!!! Hmmm, where u getting quotes!!!!! One of the best bikes of all time and u get it for that cheap?
I've been riding bikes for 10+ years, doesnt' mean my insurance is cheap!
My old mans paying £300 odd for a 1300cc bike, and hes been riding since he was 16, he is now 42, full ncb, in a good area.
I think you'll find that the bike in question will be costing well over £1k.
If not, good luck to u.

My mate tried to get insurance on a hyabusa after doing his test, they wouldnt touch him, most would only provide sensible quotes on 600's, so he bought a GSXR600... I've ridden it, and its fappin fast, never been on anythin faster, and tbh wouldnt want to unless I had been riding ages...
You would be mad gettin an Hyabusa, or an R1 etc... way too quick for an inexpreienced rider! you will 99% kill yourself!

I've been riding on the road on a bike for 5 years, this is my first year with a full license.
And i would still not dare buy something as big and fast as that. I'd buy a 600cc if money was ok.
Going from dirtbikes to a 1300cc superbike is just plain stupidity!!!
