I dont want to seem daft here, from all the pictures non of them seem to be plugged into the Ciggi lighter, i carnt see any cables dangling anywhere?
Sorry i am stupid can someone explain!
I do like the look but dont fancy pulling my interior up to hide cables.

The cables arent dangling anywhere because they are nicely tucked away behind the plastic of the centre console, I will take some pics when I get home today in the light (if it stops raining), to show you where the wires run ok??
You dont have to pull anything out the wires just tuck in neatly

Cobra how much would it cost if i wanted to buy a set of them led ropes? I was going to have a go at making some but id rather just buy sme and then have ago when i get better at soldering.
Did you just run them to a 12v live?

To be honest, they were just a couple of leds fitted to twin speaker wire, it was an "el cheapo" experiment.
I don't have any made up now, although I could do some.
I fitted a cigarette lighter plug on the end, but its probably easer to wire it direct to a 12volt source and put a switch in line.

Yea o then.
Would you consider making some up? If you would could you u2u me with a rough price etc. I will probably be wanting some leds for the mfd and the dash aswel.
I was thinking about wiring everything to the ciggy lighter live and put a switch in somewhere.
Cheers Danny

BTW, the Corsa C isn't mine but it has my leds in. Was experimenting with different types. The top pic is a 10k led, the bottom one is a 6.5k diffused led. The diffused one gives a better more even light spread, where the other one tends to show a "hot spot" immediately in fromt of the bulb, hence the two bright areas.

Looks ok mate..... what that with the 10k LED or the 6.5k deffused LED??
Sorry to ask loads of questions, just want to get things straight before I think about ordering.....
Next questions, How much?? and How easy to fit??
Also how easy would it be to change the dash bulbs also??

I believe that pic is with the 6.5k diffused.
These are slightly more expensive than the clear 5k ones although I could probably do them for £1.65 complete with resistor and fitted to an Osram holder, exactly like the original bulbs.
Fitting is a simple push and twist, its fool proof.
I don't know how easy/difficult it is to take the Corsa C dash parts out though as I've never done it.

£1.65 each, you will need two if its just for the mfd, they are ready to go, simply plug and play, post is free.
