Yeah it's a 1.1 (1121.) Had a race with a 1.3 Escort and laughed at him

I'm 21. All the money i earn just get spent on bills, food and cloths etc. It's fucking hard to save up. Was thinking of getting a 206 or 306 next year, see how it goes.

The thing is; if i buy a Pug CD playa 2nd hand for about £60 and then sell the car to Peugeot, i can say i bought it from them for £300. Doubt they will look it up and even if they do i can always say they have a fucked computer system or somethin. There stereos start from £300 so i can find out how much it is from them by giving them the model number.

If i trade it in then i can push for more on my car or paying less on the new one. I managed to do it on this one, got £300 off, a full tank of petrol, new MOT, Service and a dent took out the back. That was without a trade in. What you have gotta think about is the fact that the salesperson wants to make that deal because they will get commission on the sale so they will got and haddle with their boss to get the deal.

What if you sell it private and they want to put a alpine head unit in it...? they'll just ask you to knock £300 off the price and keep your cd player! thus you'll be down £240

I know what you mean, at the minute i want the car just to look good and have a decent CD Player. Dunno about getting another car next year yet, got 9 months to pay on the insurance yet before i make my mind up. Thinking of a 1.1 206 next time with all the extras or a 306, prob be the 206 though as it has a smaller engine.

if you want a cd player, get a head unit like pioneer / alpine or whatever...
I got my Pioneer DEH-6400R (CD with dolphin graphics etc) on ebay for £150, full documents, boxed - just like new - and this is when they were retailing for £299!!!
The thing with this, is when you goto sell the car, you can use the head unit in your next car, or sell the head unit seperate - or even offer to throw the head unit in and up the asking price by £100...
If you buy the Pug head unit, unless you buy a pug next your screwed
