i think my car has about 80bhp maybe, im not sure, with airbox drilled and panal filter, and also the centre silencer removed for a straight through pipe,

Yer i've got those mods, wont make a lot of difference. Are you sure it's 80bhp, if so that's good from a 1.2. Mind you, the Ford 1.25 Zetecs have 75bhp and have been around for yonks.

a 17in alloy wont slow a 15in alloy cos 205/40/17 are same diameter as thr 185/55/15 standard alloys, it depends on alloy style,

the corsa c sxi is pretty nippy, but they are not faster than a 1.416v.
i know this because my brother has a Sxi and i have a 1.4 16v. lower gears (1st and 2 nd) there isn't much init at all, but as soon as im in third i move away at a fair pace, then 4th and the Sxi is struggling to rev through, then 5th on im already doing a 100 with the sxi tagging along.
they are still pretty impressive for a 1.2 , i know when i had my first race with me bro and i couldn't shake off him around town speeds, wasn't happy considering my engine is bigger

1.2 sxi;s do 0-62 in bout 12.5 when a corsa 1.416v does it in 10.5 umm i no what would win,,,,

so you do have a 1.4 Sport? And Flame Red is a fine colour as long as its looked after and polished on a regular basis.
