Youve got alot of proving to do mate. If i were you id spend as much time with your g/f as possible, take her out etc. treat her, but don't try to be someone your not in proving them wrong. If you have changed they will see, but itl take time!

Me and my bf split up after about 6 months
and my dad werent very impressed coz he hurt his 'little girl'
(got chinese out of it tho!  )
but seriously, they will come round
mine 'rents were to impressed with me taking him back but they got over it and after 2 and a half years, things are still great!
