Its just down to personal attitude, but for me, theres much more satisfaction knowing you did it yourself. You never know, you could be good at it, but you'll never realise it unless you try.

I remember that when it had tights on the lights and was dented and was red.

Is a 55hp monster underneath the bonnet.

Paint probably cost more than what the car is worth

i really dont thibk the pics do this car the justice it deserves.

ive been up close and seen all the workmanship and it truly is top quality!!!

ok so it might not have a lot of power underneath the bonnet but not many modified cars do and i think hes got somethin planned in that department eh fad??

i just love the simplicity of it.
no OTT bodykits just lovely and smooth!!

Corsa Rally Car - I didn't just hand it over to a bodyshop and tell them to make it look nice. I may not have done any practical work but I knew exactly how i wanted it to look, bought all the kit, designed the vented bonnet and wing, asked lee mitchell to de-lock, de-handle and remove ariel, etc, and then handed it to bodyshop for the respray.

Ex3dos - It has never had tights over the lights (!?) and its a 75sx not a 55s. It might not have 300+bhp like yours did but not everyone gets paid what you do.

Rant over. Thanks for the feeback people

Well done for stating the obvious Ross (your very good at this). But to start with a 55-60-75 whatever) and spend ££££ on it ? At least I started modifying on a better platform.

I had a 55 in 96 but I left it alone! didnt see the point, had it for 18 months, traded it in for a GT. Then wasted loads of money on it Then in 03, realised that was a waste of time so bought what I have now, as well as the Ka.

Exactly. Not everyone can afford to buy a huge engined, gorgeous looking car, but nobody really takes this into consideration when someone new comes online and asks for opinions.

So you save money to get a big engined car.

Looked nice til i saw the horrid quad headlights, nasty skinny front bumper, and tacky bonnet vents.

Workmanship looks decent however.

im not a fan ov it but at least he's done it himself. its all so easy these days if u have the money to walk into a bodyshop with an open chequebook and ask them to build a show winning car
fair play to u m8 for a bit of creativity

Some people have to wait till their 20's to get a fast good looking car, so there is nout wrong in getting a slower car that don't look good as standard, and making it look good...
