rangers were the under dogs and played man u off the park . they deserved sumit out of the game.
If old firm were in prem they woudl qualify for europe pretty easily i think
Understand what i'm saying, underdogs try harder and want to win more. United were IMO expected to win.

yes United were expected to win
but that doesnt mean rangers are going to rise to the game
rangers will play 110% every game they play no matter who it is, man u , barcelona or bloddy aberdeen, they will al giove 110% thats wot got them where they are at moment and the trebele
Rnagers played their usual game tonight, they didnt change it cause man u were comign to ibrox
IMO man u were on the back foot all game

I'm sorry rangers totally upped the tempo as they were playing man u. Did they play that well against motherwell at the weekend? NO. And yes man u were on the back foot but they walked away with 3 points after a poor display. Which manager is happier?

First half: Rangers dominated.
Second half: Utd came out of their shell and played better football.
Both teams had chances, both teams had chances headered off the line.
Rangers rose to the occassion, just like Utd will at Old Trafford.
Utd & Stuttgart to go through.

well if u reckon rangers play like that every week , then why are they in the champions league ? why they win the treble ?
im sure u are aware every team has on and off days , sunday was one of them
rangers played well tonight , they didnt just rise to the ocassion if that was the case they wouldnt be in the champions league

Listen cnut!
Believe me, that is rangers style of football week in week out at home.....
I refered to "the english", not anyone in particular. "the english", probably yourself included will never accept that a scottish team or two could and would match the the so called better teams down south

It's all good and well getting there, but have Rangers actually ever got past the first group? On Sky it was showing the 2 teams Champions League records, Utd was quarter finals/semi finals/final etc and Rangers was didn't qualify/first round etc or something.
I agree though, Rangers did do well tonight.

totally agree mate, (even tho got nowt to do wot im on about)
point im making is rangers play like that if not better week in week out, if they only rose for the big games they would never be there or win anything , as how many teams like man u do u find in scoltland ? none.
of course they have off days like evrey other team, but they are they dont just play well against man united , thats a joke saying that

No Scottish players started though, i think that's shocking. Surely that must annoy even you, the fans?

yeah does annoy me but to compete in games like tonight rangers cant afford to play all their scottish players as they would get humped , i dont think they have a scottish player over the ages of 22
btw im not a rangers fan , my tream play 8 scottish players every week

Agreed Scott
Of course i would love a team od scots......... but all the better scottish players end up getting picked up by premiership teams...... hence the need to move!

Also if the old firm were to move down south what league would they start in? I dont think it'd be fair if they were to start in the prem.
