Looking good,
Will there be anything put on the roof rack, or will it just be put on top of the car. Just wandering as most of the vag people put something on it

wheels look sweet body colour, i think standard rears will be too bright, the ones on there suit the colour scheme well imo not to bright not too smoked.

Update: 22/4/08
Well at about 1:45am this morning, i'd cleared all the jobs that were left for me to do at work. This gave me some time to do a bit of a guvvy job.
The first job was to split the luggage rack
Then cut down the feet so that it sat lower to the roof of the van.
I then cut the outer ring of the luggage rack in the middle
Then i cut up some conduit as this was the perfect size to sleave over. I then rivitted it on both sides of the tube.
After that was complete the next job was to cut the mounting feet in half and lengthen them in the same way.
Then build up the middle part
And job done
I'll get some pics of it on the van soon. Just in 2 minds whether to leave it as it is of get it powder coated?

I don't want to like it... but I do, top work
Can't wait to see the bonnet on. I would power coat the rack.

switch it around so the raised parts run along the line of the car instead of front and back and then extend it maybe 6inches more to cover a bit more of your roof and you have perfection

Roof rack will look fine once some crap is attached...
Personally i would leave the rack as it is, let it rust

Decided to lengthen the luggage cage a bit more, and add a few bends so it fit with the shape of the roof.
Had an attempted break in at home on Monday night while i was at work. So needed some ladders to so i can put up some security lights and a house alram. Roof rack did the job perfectly!

That looks sooo much better now it's the lenght of the roof! Looked a little out of place before. Will look cool with some luggage and stuff on there.
