some more progress from today 21.07.2007
its not really progress on my car but im thinking that sheri has now lost her front bumper lol
i clipped a curb in lincoln when i met up with rob hayes about 4months ago breaking the fibreglass mount at the sides and ive only just got round to repairing her bumper after bodging it on a few times since.
i bolted the new metal brackets to my car then offered the bumper up (held in place by the trolly jack) and marked out where the mounts need to be on the bumper
i then got on with fibre glassing the new mounts on using FG resin and FG tissue, let it dry then offered it back up to my car again to double check the fit. then i got carried away and just fitted it to my car lol. i think this is the best this bumper has ever fitted now!! it still needs alot of work on the mounts to make them really strong but i ran out of FG resin, and i want to clock up some more miles tonight.
heres how it looks now (im in the process of sanding the bumper down atm)

just over 200miles to go now. all thats left is new exhaust system and fit the manifold, change the oil and coolant at 1000miles then its time to get it mapped

the sbd manifold is 401 + vat + delievery mate. its the type-c manifold which is huge.
hoping to get my new exhaust made up this week sometimes then into jamsport next week of later this week if possible. not long left till the SE rr when it needs to be done by

not sure how much power it will be producing. i would like to see 200bhp but im really not sure if it will make it as there are higher spec engines producing less power. next week shall tell though as new exhaust is being made and fitted wednesday morning and im hoping to get my car into jamsport next tuesday (if they can fit me in?)

i dropped off my car this morning to get the new exhaust made up and fitted. they ran out of 2.5" bore tubing so i will be picking up my car tomorrow afternoon afterwork. i called in earlier today though to see my mate who is making the exhaust for me and here is a couple of pictures of the new manifold fitted
