Awesome car mate, i spent ages looking round it on saturday
All it needs now, imo, is a nice colour coded roll cage. But i suppose its up to you as its your car
Really is stunning though, i was like when i saw it in the flesh.

Update:
Big brake time I been looking into brakes and people setups and what I will use Monty for. After driving a couple of cars with different various brake setups and a few phone calls to Martin at Harry Hockly Motorsport stating I want to keep 15" wheels this was the setup I went for:
Alcon 4-Pot Calipers without dust seals
Alcon 295mm 6 groove discs with bells
Ferodo DS3000 Track Pads
Alcon Fitting kit
Front wheel studs (M14 to go with the bells)
Wheel Nuts
Few Pictures of the kit:
Nice little touch.... sticker saying who constructed the calipers
On to fitting them then, Haven't driven him since PV
So how he sat in the garage on g60s
Current brake setup
Old discs vs New disc
Had to modify the Knuckle to suit the large discs as per instructions
This is where I hit abit of a problem, with the discs fitted I couldn't get the caliper on because this disc "stuck" out to far!
After a few measurements I found my front hub/knuckle setup "sticks" out 4mm more than the standard kit, which this brake kit was designed for!
Heres the standard setup:
Heres my setup:
So all in all the adapter bracket is 4mm to long!
Heres my plan (Loving the drawings )
Ill keep you posted!
Cheers Dale

Wicked What made you pick the 3000's? Only reason I say is because most people I know who use the car on the road aswell downgraded to 2500's as they are good both on and off track, 3000's need alot of heat to work to full effect

cheers Graham I have always used 2500 before but when I changed my pads last time i notice they were cracking (ie too much heat) after talking to martin at HH and showing a couple of people at autosport they advised me to go upto the 3000! My friend who drives the Cupra i built had similar problems with 2500 cracking and he has changed to 3000 and i must say they are a great pad after driving his, more suited to my driving style! Im not saying the 2500 are a bad pad at all!
Hope thats makes sense

Dale, what a fantastic read, the car is lovely in the flesh but seeing it built in this detail is something else! Gives me so much inspiration and ideas, love everything about it! Fancy an Astra GSi instead
Cheers, Ben.

So continuing with my caliper bracket issue I had 4mm machined off the brackets
Back from machine shop
Fitted brackets
Stud conversion
Trial fit
Clearance gaps
So they are a little close but its all fun
Then I fitted my steering wheel about time really
Just to prove he gets used and dirty
And because of that it required a good clean!
Will be doing alot of cleaning before billing this weekend!
Also review on the brakes WOW so glad i bought these worth every penny
More soon
