well not had the best of days with the corsa, orded some hoses from roose, came straight away , but was hoping the colour match was going to be spot on with the hoses i already have (from a diffrent company) so im going to have to re do the intercooler hoses in roose ones (just cost more)

and then after a few convos with phil the engine builder turns out the engine isnt as good as id hoped, its on stock mahle pistons, (my fault thought it was on after market)it was ment to have piper double springs in it but it has isky ones, there on later spring platforms not early ,and also the valve caps are standard so going to have to orded some new springs and caps so not to happy

It's just it was ran on non uprated bits at that power Lucky your rebuilding it to check mate. Must of been ok but would of made sense at the bhp to have uprated parts.

chris who had the engine at 540bhp didnt use it execept for short strip runs not as a semi daily driver so only a small amount of stress is put on the engine, lucky the inner springs didnt get coil bound, tbh like i said to ron yesterday for what it cost him i could of done one to alot better quality/spec. and tbh id be wanting either part refund as it was mis sold or id happily refit everything and get money back...sold something that clearly didnt have the parts in it that it was sold based on!

I would have bought a standard engine and build it to my spec, no point paying X amount for a lump because it ran 540bhp previously, specially if you're changing the spec
