Not going to join the powdercoated crew then?

Looking good though mate, at the wrong parts. Why not come to PVS this year?

Nah , I was actually considering getting new ones but thought I'd just paint them instead

I was mega pissed off when I realised they were the wrong parts, got in touch with Autovaux in a rage and they must've been laughing at me as it was all my fault

I want to go, but don't at the same time Theres the cost, plus the fact my car won't be totally up to scratch, I know there will be others alot worse but I'm fussy . Its just not ideal this year. But as I've already said, if I'm still alive it'll be at PVS 2012

Was bored tonight so sat on Photoshop for a while. Chopped few bits on, main one being the bumper to help me decide whether or not to put the effort into fixing it up.

Poverty

GSi

Decided I'm going to go for it , don't worry Dan I won't be doing the tops and arches Satin black, will be either gloss black or anthracite

What you think?

Haven't heard from you in a while mate! Thats the plan, what ever colour the trim goes the wheels will be going the same too, I was considering a badboy and extended bonnet too but wasn't that keen when I chopped it on.

Nah I've made my mind up and I'm going for the GSi bumper , I can always go back to the black bumpers in the future as I'm going to put them in the loft, my mum doesn't know this yet

He didn't come back for it mate, hence how I've got this one, still need to go down and take it off, and I'm swapping the red mirrors for the silver ones too

I know , its a hard decision to make, its either keep the black which will cost me nil, or get the GSi bumper which is costing me a £10 plus a bodyshop to paint it for me. I think I'm set on the GSi now though.

I'm going for the GSi front, if I find I preferred it with the black bumper then I'll go back to it and sell the GSi on, there would probably still be profit in it

Decided I would paint my ARB up today since everything else is nice and clean Found some gold in the shed so thought I'd try it , think I should've just done it black though?

Have another decision to make , had a quote on getting my wheels powder coated gloss black and a quote for getting them polished. £130 for powder coating and £150 for polishing.

I would like them polished but I think they might look out of place?

Thats who I got the quote of mate , although he quoted me £150. Probably depends on the wheel, with mine having the little step down bits probably makes it cost more.

I was thinking though they'd be a bit hard to maintain the condition, and I'd need to get a set of winter wheels so think I'll just get them powder coated.

Whats the benefit of removing the ARB? Will it not have more body roll in corners?

Yea I decided to go with powder coating, will be getting them done next month , I was tempted by the polishing as its always been something I fancied. I'll probably get a 2nd set of wheels in the future and do it to them

Painted the rocker cover today, don't have nothing else to do do thought I might as well , still needs to be flatted and lacquered, should look ok.
