Well today I went to toms to strip my disc rear beam

The discs are 260mm so pretty big for the rear

Took these bit off to clean up and paint them, undicided what colour to do the calipers tho :s anthisicite ( or how ever it's spelt lol)? That's what I'm thinking anyways. What do you reckon?





Masked up before:



After 1 coat



The cleaned callipers (one in primer)





So need paint on calipers
2nd coat on discs and hubs
Get a spare Corsa beam front Tom
Then hand brake cables

Iv just brought some 308mm for the front gonna probs get new discs all round anyways to match both ends I only have baby 256mm at the front on the mo and they look tiny lol

260mm on the back is pretty big I think yea

Red would be good but not sure weather to brake up the rear to the front? Red on red might be abit much? Not sure it could work lol. Might do one of each and looky see

was just thinking im sure 2.0 brakes are smaller than 260mm lol.

should work well with 308 fronts but id think twice if it were bigger discs on the back.

are there any problems on braking when fitting rear discs? i'm in 2 minds wether to do this on my gsi turbo or to just stick with the drums?

and calipers red for me, will stand out behind the d90's and make the rear disc conversion noticable
