OK, I might pick it up on my lunch if it is cheap enough. Tbf, I downloaded the demo when I came out and hated it Never really gave it a chance.

Basically COD is an arcade game, Battlefield is more realistic. You've got me on PSN so if you get it we will have to have some games together.

Yeah, that's the main thing I like about COD Quite easy to play, but full of annoying little kids now. I like the idea of smashing buildings up and actually, dare I say it, working as a team.
I'll see how much i can pick it up for in Game or something and I'll come on tonight.

Just splashed out
£22 but could be worse, looking forward to giving it a go tonight.
Can you quickscope?
Edit: If anyone is playing this on PS3, add me. My PSN is the same as on here, just send me a message so I know you are from CS

How did you get on? I wasn't about last night and not sure if I'm going out tonight or not but I'll be about a bit over the weekend if you fancy a session at some point. It makes it a lot better if you are working with someone that speaks the same language in a squad

It's certainly different! I LOVE being able to blow up buildings I need to get used to the maps, and how the game plays. Only thing is the maximum sensitivity still feels like I'm turning in treacle! I'm going to be banging this out over the weekend o if you are on, invite me, I need a wingman to help me through

You can fly the choppers?! I was getting destroyed by them Never knew they were being flown by a player though! I got in a jeep once but didnt have a clue what I was doing, started racing around in it and my team were going mad
Whats your ID? I'll add you if you are up for some games?

You'll get the hang of it. Learning the maps does help a lot. Especially considering the size of some of them.
I'm sure I will be able to help convert you! I can't play COD now, it just seems so lame in comparison. I can fly the helicopters but nothing like as good as some people.
Pisses me off when you get someone that's incredible flying a helicopter on the other team and you just can't shoot them down no matter how much you try, they are just too good

Yeah, the maps are HUGE. Doesn't feel as if there are enough people playing either, you end up running the length of the map just to find someone. Makes it more realistic I guess.
I had a similar problem with a sniper last night, kept spawning at one end of the map, trying to run down a hill and getting picked off by the same guy each time!
Also, i'm not sure if it is me, but is the hit detection a bit 'vague'? I'm not realy sure when I have killed someone Sometimes there are hitmarkers, and sometimes they just drop dea without it feeling like I've killed them?

There will be a hit marker if you killed them or hit them, if its not come up it means someone else has killed them or you just haven't hit them!
There are certain maps that are a bit more intimate and chaotic, you can't move without being shot! Then you get ones like Heavy Metal that are stupidly big, snipers are king on the big levels. On the big levels it's good if you can have one or 2 snipers in the squad then a medic and then the other guy as an engineer or assault class. That way you can deal with pretty much anything you come up against!

Ok yeah I'll set one up. It doesn't tend to kick people like COD does. I haven't been kicked from a game for ages now.
I'll be on after I've had my tea so probably a similar time to you.
Erm well there used to be me, JonnyJ, Eck, Eck's brother and think I've played with Fro too but lately it's only been me on it playing with randoms
