So now the box has been designed, the frame has been bonded into the car along with a layer of RamMat sound deadening. The box is then fixed onto the frame and the position on the amps has started. Doesn't look much at the minute, but this is just the raw base before its all installed flush and covered

Ruins the clean look imo. Can't comment much on audio, as I know barely anything about it.

A few people have mentioned the stickers, but the majority of them are for the club I run and will always be on there.

Not all of the audio is on show because its being kept very clean and tidy, also am using more amps then theres room to display

Over compentsating on everything, makes it better for handling the power and extra safe

The fabrication on the doors has now started, not much to look at atm.

But an idea of how its going to look/sit.

I've missed having one for so many years!! Also all my previous ones were just built around your standard Halfords twin sub boxes lol, now I have the advantage that my oldest friend has opened his own business professionally building them!!

So today the doors have been finished, however we have come accross a bit of an issue. The door loom on my 1999 plate Corsa is done using a loom connector, not the cables going through the door. So because of this and the fact that theres 6 cables needing to go through to each door, the doors are coming off to drill holes and fit a Landrover loom/gromit system above the standard connections to get the cables into the doors.

Love them, always wanted a set on my old GSi polished.

Don't think it would suit my white GSI though!

Go for it (but wouldn't pay the £400 he wants - overpriced with no tyres too )

I thought this, but I've spoke to some of the scene boys who have wheels polished and its not a cheap to have done so even without tyres £400 for the cost of a set of Speedlines + £200+ for a set to be polished, I can just about justify spending it.

After seeing close up's of them, there mint and great condition but its completely changed my mind.

I'm not sure if its because full face polish just doesnt suit the shape of Speedlines or what, but theres just something about them that looks like someone went to Halfords and got a spray time of chrome paint and painted them!!

I'll stick with my hi-power silver, the iconic colour for Speedlines

Oh and picked the Corsa up from Zerocake tonight, she sounds amazing.
