Don't see the point in killing him, he doesn't suffer at all that way. Why not just throw him in a tiny cell, with the most minimal human interaction and let him slowly lose his mind?
Much more of a punishment than death imo

That happened to van damme in the film 'in hell'. He turned into a fighting machine though.
