insurance company reckon so, got to speak to claims dept tomorrow to sort something out. Think my property was watched and tagged in some way as theres no way into my back garden other than over 2 neighbours gardens.
Got a phone call off insurance bike dept yesterday. Giving me a £900 replacement. I only paid £150 cash off a workmate and only costs £500 new. Slightly surprised they didn't try and get out of it.

First bit of road biking in ages tonight. Just biked to my mates average of 17.4 pretty slow tbh. I'm used to rough ground and prolonged climbs not southern red trail tarmac

tonights lovely night ride was a trip up the edge of helvelyn then descending down sticks pass. just under 9 miles but over 2500ft of climbs. snow in places on the descents then some rocky single track right on the side of a cliff. managed to go over the bars and nearly fall down that cliff. one of the people that i was with took some good pics with his camera, will try and get them and post them up.

I think I might get out on the road bike later on tonight. Can feel my legs aren't as good as they were this time last year which is annoying.

Nothing quite like hitting 45+ on a descent on a road bike. One slip and you will be straight down to the bone.

Them boys fall off and put their feet down nearly as much as me! In fact is it not classed as riding a scooter when you push along with one foot like that?
Just messing, pretty cool vid tbh.

will look crap and i can't wait for cole to take the piss, but thats a sort of secret trail at whinlatter. very muddy, very sloppy, lots of tree roots and shit loads steeper than the video makes out. no doubts cole has a mate that rides worse on roller-skates.

there was some really good bits at another forest but they did a lot of felling there recently and most of it is now destroyed sadly. that was all tree roots and mud and real good fun. I've been doing a lot of the rockier stuff lately down the mountains. huge long descents that are well worth the massive climbs up.
