Not being funny Robbo, but, you are the new Steve
biggest insult ever tbh. think you lot are just going soft in the head tbh. a real fan of a club would never want to sit by and watch their best players beign sold and replaced by literal tat from relegated shite foreign teams and 31 year olds not wanted by other clubs
Can't be any worse than buying untested black teenagers for ridiculous fees
the free for Oxlade-Chamberlain seems all the more worse now considering the events of the last few weeks and the penny pinching can only assume that wenger has VERY high hopes for him, fingers crossed hes right!

Or, you could trust in your manager that he knows what sort of players will fit into his squad, and thinks, like most others, that Arteta is a fantastic addition to the squad
Robbo's deluded tbh.

dude i genuinely cannot understand how you can be pleased with events especially considering you were calling for wengers head midway through last season
I was calling for his head IF he didn't make the signings we needed.
I think these are key signings - If we get Arteta too.

I think is a case of slim pickings for Arsenal. Left it late and as Fergie keeps saying, value in the market.
I think Wenger has exceeded everyones opinions this past few days!

If Arsenal went for Arteta 12 months ago, I would have been happy if I was a fan, as he's a great player and would be an excellent addition to the squad for when Fabregas got injured

on yur second point, most certainly never ever have we signed so many in such a short space of time.
kroenke seriously needs to come out and explain what the fuck is happeneing at arsenal asap as somethign is seriosuly wrong. we do not need to bank £60m+ and whilst i acknowledge that thanks to citeh we cant compete for the top players on wages (altho i still think we probs need to revsie wage policy upwards otherwise we will lose CL and the effect will ripple through the club) but yet we seem to genuinely be be making decisions over the odd million here or there.

no he hasnt!!!! an unproven LB, a CB with seriosuly divided opinions (esp if add bremen fans to the mix, plus why was he never offered contract estension) never mind the korean striker and potential benayoun move.
we needed a top class CB which i think cahill will be (not quite there but not far off), jury will be out ont he very slow mertesacker imo. needed a top top class striker as we only have RVP really, chamakh is shit and gervino is untested up front... we got a korean no-name from a recently relegated monaco team. we need a top top class creative midfielder and would appear we'll get the perfectly decent arteta but hes not goign to set the world on fire. LB, jury is out, mixed opinions on santos and will need to prove. baines early on in the summer would have been a much muh better signal of itnent. ahead of playing us
the shenanigans with our team will only give eveyr other team a confidence boost

Robbo where are you plucking this pish from? Do you know Werder fans? He is a top class defender, and his stats were brought up a few pages ago and you never said anything then? He may not be quick, but neither is the likes of John Terry? It's called positioning! It's what makes a decent defender a great one

go for it, but he does play for bolton probably get the same skewed stats as if you compared wilshere at bolton late 09/10 and wilshere at arsenal early 10/11. clear that cahill has a lot of the qualities we need. mertesacker does too but the lack of mobility and what im hearing of his performances for dortmund the last 18 monts (and the lack of contratc offer) leaves some proving to do. cahill has prem experience, is a bit younger and im sure will do well for england in the future. mertesacker has a lot of caps which is def a good thing but he has alos been in and out of the starting line up
