Nothing really. Need to look at how to make it 4x4 so keeping f28 would be easiest option.

brand new second hand linkage bush. all gears working nicely again. hopefully sort it out with rose joints at some point instead to make it work better.

Nic although a bit more pricey why not buy something like evo4 running gear and run a spacer plate inbetween block and box and possibly a custom fly. Much stronger then the Vaux transfer box.
Also Celica GT4 stuff is supposed to be pretty strong too

It's the expense tbh, that's all that puts me off. Vaux stuff will be simple.

Depends really. Need to see what goes wrong on the transfer box and if/how can make it stronger.

Some bloke ran over 500 on his or something before making it rwd? Just doing it for fun like the rest of the car really. Will be able to strengthen a transfer box up I'd imagine as from what I gather that's the weak part. It's only a thought, not really sure I can be arsed to waste more cash, will see. May just turn the poke down.

fitted 2 of the avon slicks on some mo's at work, they picked up a load of stuff just rolling them across the workshop floor.
they're not massive wide things or any wrinkle walled jobs but be ideal for the local drag strip or perhaps some tracks if i ever bother again. might test them out on saturday see what they are like for grip.
