That Jay, doesn't look too bad. The red IC pipes set it off a treat. Well done.

Drum wise, with shoes on the inside of a drum you get a bigger surface area, but less cooling. But brake have moved on a lot since the 50's, when they worked out the braking distances in the highway code, and speed limits. So really we should all be aloud to do a ton

Nice motor by the way.

Haha. Spoke to him yesterday and he seems like a real sound guy. I can either go phase2 or Evo5. Evo5 is an extra £40 but apparently is much more mappable with added mods. I wanted to go no more than 280bhp but then again I did say at the start I didn't want anymore than 260bhp but now its there, I want more! We'll see anyway.

it will be fine on evo 5 mate... my mate ran it for 4years on his astra LET with no problems.. He only got rid as he whet to eds phase 4... Thats what my ecu has now

beardy will set it to what power you need.. Boost level i mean.. you can knock the boost back a touch for reliability you dont have to run it full.. just run it how your happy, and he'll get the fueling right to suit.. If you have'nt got one, get and adjustable feul reg before you go so he can set it all up right matey. you'll need a 2wd cossie reg. there the best mate.
