It means they needed to make something up to generate an article and Robinho played for Brazil last night so that will make a good story
Its like when they said we've been given the green light to go for Joe Cole. He's on a free transfer FFS

Probably not a good idea, he'll get confused about he has signed for again.

I wouldn't mind if we went in for Steven Pienaar

I can see us signing another Smalling, Diouf type player.
Get linked with all the stars under the sun then sign some no name.

Its going to be interesting to see who we do actually sign. I'm hopeful that there will be one established or semi-established name coming in. Silva/Aguero/Krasic/Pienaar type.
Even though Aguero is unlikely and Krasic is about to sign for Juventus, just an example.

"Manchester City are hoping to tempt £25m-rated Manchester United centre-back Nemanja Vidic with a £200,00-a-week deal, while United are planning their own transfer activity with Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema a £20m target."
Another thats never going to happen. If his wife doesn't like Manchester then he isn't going to go to the bitters when she can sun herself in Madrid instead.

Not a new signing, but Paul Pogba's move to United has finally been sorted. Even though he's already been playing in reserves.

Why would their be any rumours of players who are at the WC. Hardly like they are going to put the distraction of a transfer on their own heads during it.

If its true and they do pay that, then, well I will be stunned and Barcelona will be laughing seriously hard all the way to the bank.

where is he going to fit into the team when they already have, Viera, Kompany, De Jong, Ireland & Barry in central midfield?
Whoever makes the transfer decisions at Eastlands Completely baffles me, They had 8 recognised 1st team strikers last season, And as said toure is worth nowhere near that, 28m is fabregas transfer fee money!

Don't forget how after one season they parked England's most expensive footballer in Robinho at over 32.5 Million Pounds to Brazil

i knew there was something i forgot .. and to think we were teased about Veron being an expensive mistake
And to think of the money that has been thrown at their defence its largely full of average crap
If Fergie had that kind of money he could build 2 squads
