Cheers

Dan the writing will be red as I'm doing the plug cover black so should look pretty sweet , although it looks pretty nice in the red, wouldn't look bad with black letters.

To many decisions to be of late

I would if the timing belt kit and water pump would hurry up and come, I'd rather wait and fit them while the engine is out rather than fitting them while its fitted. Should be here tomorrow. Hopefully

Not rapid enough, I'm already thinking of what tuning bits I could buy once its all up and running. Don't want to go down the turbo route though.

Thats what I've been thinking about tbh, I'll look into them more when I'm closer to upgrading on what's needed to run them etc, once the engine is in and running and the bay looking nice the exterior will by main priority.

After that it'll just be putting my own touch on it and perfecting it

Cheers , yea its pretty good at them too , its been doing a really long one for about two months now!

Update: Finished the Rocker cover and plug cover

Decide to go for matt black in the end for the plug cover and I done the oil cap too, the overall result is nice, but the paint finish isn't the best, its smooth and shiny but I think I put too much paint on as I can't see my reflection plus I can see sanding marks. Its nothing too bad though, still looks nice I'll either try again in the future or else pay someone to do it.

Trial fitted it to the engine

Wasn't hard at all mate, I soaked it in gunk for about 5mins, agitated the niggly bits with a toothbrush then washed it with fairy liquid and then sanded it down and cleaned it again. Wasn't har at all

Cheers mate, I'm very happy with it , pity about the one on Gumtree, I always find you have to be quick of the mark with Gumtree, I've tried loads of times in the past to buy cars of there and there almost always sold

I'll give you a shout if I see anything around mate
