IPTV the next big thing?
Although with those prices you might as well just pay sky

This isn't really IPTV is it, the TV signals are still being delivered over the air waves to the dish. Just using using the Internet to get the decryption codes.

Yeah sorry that's not what I was saying, I've had a dreambox for a few years. But the next alternative to getting HD channels without the Sky sub is IPTV

Sky is them selves already looking to move to IPTV from the reports that are around i.e. no longer using the satelite

Is there any info/source regarding Sky UK (i know they've got IPTV services is other parts of the world) switching their full sat service to IPTV?
I don't doubt they're testing, developing and perhaps trialling a system but i'd be surprised if they're one of the first to switch due to cost, lack of infrastructure and the fact they'd probably have to run both sat and IPTV networks for some time to keep their coverage up. It's obviously vastly cheaper for cable operators to switch as the infrastructure is already in place (most cable STB's are already IP enabled anyway).

Fred, nothing personal, but your message was too funny not to post As suspected, your big secret is of no use at all to what we're on about.

Certainly Netflix isn't a Sky/VM replacement and most 'dodge' IPTV services are piss poor. And by 'tuner box' i assume he means Kryptview/Starview stb's?
Did U2U Fred as well, hoping he knew something new but obviously not
Edit - 'Clever Cunt'....FLOL

I don't claim to be any kind of master of the CS scene. You came in all cryptic telling people to do research on the subject implying there was a workaround to the problem at hand, but your info turned out to be as useful as a cock flavoured lolly-pop, that's all. Like I said, nothing personal Fred

At any point have i said i know something new. I simply replied incase others didnt know about other services. Just because your IPTV service was "piss poor" dont mean all are. Usual Corsasport going on belittling people and all i was doing was trying to help.

You didn't tho, you told people to do research, that didn't help anyone.
You're just making yourself sound silly now for no real reason.
