And another one

"Moussa Sissoko has terminated his contract with Toulouse. He has agreed with Newcastle United football club for a definitive transfer that takes effect today."

funny, given Pardew's comments about Arsenal when he was WHU boss

End of the day Ashley is in it to make money and if he decided he wanted to cash in after a couple of seasons he would probably double his money on all of them, with the exception of Obertan of course!

Are you on drugs? By far your best player just left for 7million, your in a relegation dog fight. Hammer hit it bang on the head, how houghton must be laughing...

I don't really follow your logic, I have never commented on us losing our best player nor the fact we are in the relegation dogfight I was simply stating that with the exception of one or two dubious signings a majority have appreciated in value during their time at Newcastle and that's all Ashley seems to be interested in, until he loses this metality and actually looks to build a successful team with a decent manager I fear we are condemned to being a yoyo club with very few prospects for success!

The only way he'll make money is if the players he buys improve and then are courted by other clubs, this normally occurs when the club is doing well.

If all the quality players at Newcastle just now are part of a side that finishes in the bottom 3 they'll be picked up for a pittance. Any manager worth his salt would have this Newcastle side further up the table, even with the amount of injuries to key players.

I totally agree that a decent manager would have us performing far better than we have been however I also maintain that all of those players on that list could be sold for more than they were purchased for

I thought 'wilf' wasnt going anywhere? Loved the club? Palace till he dies?

Considering you are supposedly top pals with the chairman you seem to have the shittiest inside information going

He won't though because the only reason he would leave was if Arsenal comes in for him as he supports them and he will be a Palace player on February 1st and he would only leave for £50 million as Palace are owned by gazillionaires and you know them and they told you he's going nowhere?

Glad hes not gone to Arsenal though he would have guaranteed to have ended up being average

Wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't get any game time, goes off to another club and is a sensation. United have done it a few times in recent years with great talent.

Was just being naive when I said about arsenal. My inside information is there for all to hear if you bothered listening, plus I said all along he'd play for Palace until the summer.

So chuffed for him, what a move for him and the club and hopefully it goes straight into the stadium fund. Don't expect to see him week in week out, but hopefully he has the chance to prove himself.

When the biggest club in the country comes knocking allegiances to any other club goes out the window.
