Another one of those races where the Redbull sponsors wish they were a midfield car

I always laugh when they flash a token image of the winner crossing the line and then immediately snap back to the real racing

Although Hamilton drove a good race and nailed some really nice damage limitation - it looks concerning for Mercedes' season. Still being able to reliably qualify on the front row should gift a few good results at Monaco and maybe Singapore so it's important they keep that up.

Poor Alonso Not often I say that, but it was a miserable race for him really. I wonder if Massa and Hamilton have done something in common to cause those tyre failures. I don't buy into the "debris causing delamination" line, I think Pirelli have dropped a bollock this weekend.

DiBoring did alright I guess, glad he got robbed of a podium though

From 2nd downwards it was a great race. Shame merc stuck lewis on the medium after the 1st stop because he was fast on the hard tyre. Chuffed with 5th though when all said and done, it sort of came out of nowhere. Up to 3rd in the championship!

Not bad for someone who had made a massive career error and wouldn't get above 7th really.

Also found it funny Jenson bitching because Perez was faster than him and wanted the team to save him. Out shone by your inexperienced teammate. Oh dear.

I cheered Perez when passing Button tbh, he was faster than him for a while. JB the tyre whisperer four stopping too

Was a bit stupid of Perez though - lucky Jenson got away without a puncture

tyre whisperer

tbh the tyres were shockingly bad. they do spice things up a lot but also cause a lot of problems. massa's 1st? puncture where the tyre just came away from the sidewall was rather worrying. pirelli need to get their act together.

Tyre whisperer

Be funny if Perez beats him, especially as I don't rate Perez at all. Far too many off days which aren't made up by his odd decent day.

Wonder what this big upgrade will be like for them in Spain? If it doesn't work they could be in big trouble and end up finishing behind Force India in the constructors.

I actually thought it was risky from Button, he parked that car on the apex in an attempt to stop Perez undercutting him. You can risk that with a top driver but not someone like Perez.

I had an accumulator on yesterday

Vettel to beat Alonso
Kimi to beat Rosberg
Di Resta to beat Sutil
Hamilton to beat Webber

Needless to say I was very animated when Hamilton and Webber were at it in the last 10 laps or so.

Just think if you had put Perez to beat Button you could've won £61.63!

That was a long 3 weeks!

Looking like a straight fight between RB and Ferrari for the championship. Lotus will hang on in there though. Mclolren still 1.5 secs behind after practice. What a distaster of a season this is turning into for them, calamity team.

been having proper withdrawal symptoms, need another race in that space tbh, rather than crowding out other parts of the season.

Wowser this 3 weeks has seemed longer than the winter break!

Don't believe McLaren still haven't found any pace. I'm not sure Jenslow or Perez will be getting the most out of it though.... I bet they're missing Lewis.
