Would it fit etc? Is it a generic one. How many bikes does it hold?

I still own a runabout, but can't justify it being used as a bike rack

Yeah, I know Mr RR.
I actually might be able to do it with front on in the Skoda - not tried yet. Couldn't in Audi but the boot is huge in Skoda and wider.

Im not too bothered about mud. Cleans out alright once its dry. If I think about it I will take an old sheet to lay on top of but I normally forget

Sorry mate, missed the link as I saw it before the edit. Will take a look later.
Easy enough to operate? Get scared of your bike(s) flying off?

Not actually used it on the road.. Had it on with bike. Seems solid enough. Its got 6 straps holding it to the car. They attach under the boot edges. Get great reviews.

I need to get a bike rack for my partner's Ford Focus. I'm tempted by the Thule 9103 (9104 being for estates). Is there anything else I should be considering?
Thanks.

Question for an anonymous person who is too scared to log in. I don't know why.
Mr. Poole has a Giant Yukon FX2 2008 and would like recomendations for a new front shock.
Here os the bike:
http://www2.giant-bicycles.com/en-gb/bikes/mountain/1435/29710/?collections_id=3
He has not mentioned budget or ride preferences but I would suggest something like this:
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=85078
