Be good to have the battle of the roses back. Think as it stands Durham are .5 behind Yorkshire with the bonus points they've got so far.

Northants have drawn today, leaves us 25 points clear with a game in hand over them, also playing Leicestershire next who haven't won one this season.

A pro I'll be playing against on Sunday played for Sussex 2's this week, scored 192* and took a few wickets, word is he'll be making his 1st team debut against Yorks next week. Might really derail your title bid if he gets going!

Another round of CC games underway today. Zaidi does make his debut for Sussex, we dropped him on 11, went on to make 90*

Typically rain is hampering Lancs

We've just taken our 2nd wicket against Sussex. Steady start but we need to rack up the bonus points in this game

Going to be a common theme I think that, we got 21 overs in all day, Derby-Durham didn't get much more. I saw somebody, possibly Hampshire, off at 2pm for bad light.

Yorkies look to be cruising along but Durham have Derbyshire 7 down now.

From Lancs point of view Esssex missed out on a couple of bonus points so we only need 15 now to guarantee promotion, should probably hit 400 ASAP then declare and try to pick up bowling points.

Hoping Derbyshire can just bowl maiden after maiden from now until its rained off

Hopefully we'll rack up 400 declare and get some bowling points. Thats if rain is still forecast, havent checked.

You've already got your bowling points, I don't think there is any in the 2nd innings. Reaching 400 will give you 8 points in total, plus whatever the result. 3 for a draw, 16 for a win!

We've just reached 400 so that's 5 for us, day 3 now so may as well stick Leicester in, see if we can roll them and make them follow on. No Chapple though.

Amla has bagged a pair for Surrey, wonder how much that cost everyones least favourite county?

3 early wickets for Lancs but Leicestershire are starting to rebuild a bit. Finally underway at Hove too, Durham going very well at Derby though.

Derby rolled for 63 , Durham certainly going to win that and pull well clear.

Well, well done to Durham, a strong team and deserved overall. Gutted for Yorkshire but we have a lot of good, young talent so should hopefully be stronger next season.
