new tyres for next weekend. slightly cheap r888s in 205/50/15
horn wiring before
after
cleaned up the boost pipes and alloy tanks as they had got covered in crap from changing gearbox etc few weeks ago. can't get the marks out the rocker cover from the petrol so it needs painting for definite, not really going to bother with that until after next weekend though.
first time ever car is ready to go without any last minute jobs to do. nice.

I swear I'm not ginger there has been photo evidence to support this recently pmsl.
Still got a few vacuum pipes to tidy but tbh it's about as clean and tidy as I can be bothered with. Will change some stuff in the next few months probably.

Driving through mud and general country roads round here always covered in farmers muck.
Rocker cover will be getting attacked as soon as ten of the best is done, well, as long as nothing else breaks plimsole.

if your using poly bushes on front don't use power flex ones as they're generally pretty crap and soft i found. use the red ones from rally design. cheaper and a lot stronger.
list of stuff i done to mine
gaz coilovers
rose jointed track rod ends
rose jointed ball joints
spherical bearing top mounts, caster/camber adjustment
rose jointed bottom arm and tie bar set up
front strut brace
fully welded in custom cage roll cage to through to the front struts
rear white line arb
poly bushed back beam
epas steering rack used as quick rack
polybush rack mounts.
it does actually handle pretty well considering the added weight of engine contrary to what the internet will say.

r888s fitted on the momomomomo's
rose jointed gear linkage from a delightful chap called ian. just need to shorten the bit that connects to the gearbox and job shall be much tighter gear changes. and perhaps less likely for me to break it......
if anyone wants some old 205/50/15 yoko a048s, pretty much dead for road use as on wear bars, but be good for spares to slag up and down drag strips. open to any reasonable offer, collection only.
