She speaks fluent French and is a regular cast in a lot of mainstream French cinema where she sounds perfectly normal. However, her accent did sound odd?!

Agree with rating though 8/10

Bit flawed but a great watch with some awesome effects/gore.

We're the millers - 6/10, was a bit funny but dragged on at the start and wasn't exactly laughing all the way through.

Why was her character French anyway? Didn't really add anything. Bit pointless really.

The Escapist (2008)

7/10, plot was simple, some guys escape from prison. The whole film jumped between the escape and the planning for the escape, back an forth.

Then it turns out the main character hasn't escaped and has hallucinated the whole thing after being stabbed by Sgt. Brody and only the other 4 characters escaped.

Pain & Gain - 6/10

suppose it was worth a watch.. but i wont be watching it again, i hate films where the characters are thick as fuck.. what makes this worse is that the story really happened!

Wreck it Ralph - 6/10
May need to watch it again when I'm not tired. Didn't think it was as good as I heard it was. Liked the scenes with all the bad guys in the group meetings etc. Found the rest of it a little boring.

Savages - 7/10

Oliver Stone film about 2 guys who grow and sell weed. They reject a business proposition from a big time Mexican drug lord and have their shared girlfriend kidnapped and 5 hours to reconsider and provide the drugs or else the slaughter her and film it.

Didn't feel like an Oliver Stone film. Felt too modern and didn't have the same sense of being a classic like his older films. If this were made in the 70's-80's it would have had a completely different tone to it. you watch films like Platoon, Wall Street, JFK etc and they feel a bit special, this on the other hand, although interesting could have been directed by anyone.

One thing annoyed me, all the Apple products featured had prominent stickers placed over the logo making it even more noticeable.

Are we talking the Jack Black version Robin? And is she the bird that plays the queeny/princessy bit of fluff?

Jack Black is a pretty good actor when he's not trying to suck up to the rock legends.
That bird in Gullivers Travels reminds me of a chick from a different film but can't think who.

Elysium - 7/10 - Visually it's brilliant, can't argue with that (only reason i'm giving it a 7 out of 10). I thought the storyline was a bit weak and predictable in places and it just seemed to drag. Perhaps i read too many reviews before going in but it certainly wasn't up to expectations.
Also doesn't help that Jodi Foster played her character incredibly shitly - the accent (or lack of), the acting; i found her to be completely distracting
