yeah, although there will be ways around it. its not an enforcement as such immediately as obviously there are going to be loads and loads still made before next month that will still be for sale. i think its 2-3 years for the life of them from production before you can't sell them on the new laws or something.

edit - we had a load of bridgestones in with the new labelling on today actually. it depends on manufacturers in a way, if they label them within the brackets, be fine. they are pretty shit on wet surfaces and standing water, more so than a normal car tyre as they're not designed for that. also quite noisy. yokohama haven't said anything about the a048 however.

cheers!

quite a few of the chinese companies have had the new style labels on for a few months already, and tbh, i don't believe half of it. not really sure whats going to happen with road legal track tyres, although i do agree with what the law says about wet grip, and tbh, i don't use them as road tyres hardly anyway, too expensive. they have 2-3 years to come up with a solution after the current production i guess.

fired the mo's on with the r888's and gave it a clean as it was covered in cow shite and various other cumbrian country road delights.

plate is slightly growing on me.

ever thought about fitting a set of skinny steelies on the back for the strip action? would get less friction/drag, makes sense in my head anyway lol

not sure i want to get into it that big mark really. its like people that run fwd are mostly all on solid bar instead of a rear shocker and spring set up to stop it squatting. gives it more grip but i just can't be bothered changing a load of stuff around just to do drag runs. not so troubled by 2 front wheel swaps. i dunno.
