i was going to see how many cones i could knock over but ran out of time and never got a chance sadly. spent too many runs missing gears instead of cone crushing. johnny fletchers mk4 did well on the handling.

marshals found it and saved it, and the jacking point cover. nice of them really.





damaged parts. appears front engine mount now only has 1 bolt in it, so engine was twisting upwards and hitting on the strut brace. no idea when the bolts departed, must have been some time after lunch. that could've been quite messy/nasty.

Lol at the side skirt just deciding its had enough of being part of the car haha , scary thought aswell when bolts are just falling out. Hope all is an easy fix

As long as the block casting where they bolt to is fine, shouldn't be more than 2 bolts and a bit of thread lock. Need a new oil cap as it has a hole in it, got another rocker cover just need to get the adjustments welded up on it.

As long as the block casting is fine, even if the thread is pulled, jus fit a heli coil with thread lock, will be fine.

goldilocks pmsl. Will go investigate the situation shortly see what damage is. Quite annoying it's cracked the rocker cover as that's the one I've got the -10 weld on union and rear breathers smoothed off. Really concerned as to when the bolts expired during the day, didn't even notice, hear anything, feel anything etc. odd.

oh forgot to mention, car on the noise test was only 96db which i think is quite decent really.
