Shame the top speed run doesnt show a time too from standing. 4th, 5th and 6th are where these cars really come into theyre own I think.
Whats your fastest ever 1/4 to date bud?

need to make some drastic improvements i think to the corsa if i want to get any faster instead of not really taking it seriously which is what i do currently

Nah you dont, not caring and taking things too serious makes it become a chore and not very enjoyable. I suppose you need to decide what you want from your car though to make the next step towards improvements

I hate it, I dont want to fuck him at all. I miss my car loads though, even more after yesterday. I would of just stuck to the handling circuit

in fact 100% 250lb springs were not helping as the lift from the front was shocking

Get yourself so 350lbs on there as 250lbs are shocking on road and strip.
Is it possible to get your map changed to suit drag more with perhaps a more progressive boost to help prevent continuation wheel spin between gear changes?

Or boost vs TPS which makes it a very smooth map

pretty sure there is supposed to be more than 1 loose bolt in the front engine mount?
when its lifted and the oil cap has hit the strut brace, knackered the oil cap, put a hole in it, and also cracked the rocker cover. smoothly done!!!!
rescued sideskirt thanks to the straighliners lot, even rescued the jacking point cover. theyre a good bunch of people.
going to go get some bolts put back into the mount tonight. need to get the weld on attachment done on my other rocker cover before i fit it as that one on it now is scrap.

thanks, i did about as good as id hoped. few alterations to make to the car really. 250lb front springs caused the front lift to be ridiculous and tbh a waste of time.

few extensions
2 bolts and all tightened up again
old red rocker cover from years ago to the rescue. will order -10 fitting and get it welded on hopefully this weekend then i can paint up the red cover and get it fitted.
oh will get the sideskirt and jacking cover sanded down tomorrow night and primed up ready to paint hopefully. need some tiger seal or equivalent.

Thinking about it Nic, springs are rated in bump, not rebound, but in theory a higher poundage spring would rebound quicker then a lighter one.
What you would need to do is set your dampers so the rebound is a very stiff, slow action to combat the lift.
