Oblivion- 7.5/10

Better than i was expecting after seeing some reviews, but nothing new was brought to the table which let it down abit for me. Entertaining enough though

Shooter- 3-4/10

Not really that great, wasn't expecting much and didn't get much The ending felt very immature, and not just because everyone died

Id say the opposite. Ending is proper gutting.

I still cant forgive the "this didn't happen to the other guy" camp 60's Batman esque line.

Ending is good. It was the main storyline of all the girls that seemed a bit weak compared to other world domineering plots.

I can't put my finger on it. Obviously Lazenby doesn't have Connery's charisma but something about the whole film seems 'off' to me. Monneypenny and M seem completely out of character at times. The scene with Bond getting married seems completely surreal to me.

On the other hand, you could argue that Lazenby's vulnerable, uncertain of himself Bond is much more interesting than Connery's uberconfident macho man. Plus the ending is actually emotionally affecting, how many Bond films can you say that about?

The wedding just didn't seem right for a bond film although he doesn't marry her as James bond

I'd give it the same. Has the same feel or plot as at least two films that I can think of...

1) The Moon
2) Wall-E

Rush 9/10

loved it, if you are a petrol head this is a great film, the sound in the cinema was brilliant

plus its a true story, only gave it a 9 as i thought it was rushed (but i spose there is only so much you can fit into 2 hours)

Jobs 6/10
Quite interesting to find out about Steve Jobs although the story dragged in a few places and stopped quite abruptly.
Worth a watch.

I liked pain and gain but the fact it's set 1995 and they drove a 1997 Plymouth and a 2001 Mustang wound me up even though it really shouldn't have

About - 8.5/10 - Was expecting it to be a little funnier but thought it was a pretty decent watch overall; decent storyline that has a good twist on the time-travel theme and well played characters (Bill Nighy is awesome as always) - well worth a watch.
