Bought a new steering wheel as the old one is getting very tatty, probably get it recovered then decide which i like best and sell the other.

Got a carbon sheet to replace the rear window.





I plan on covering the incar side with alacantara and leave the carbon on the engine side.

Should save quite a bit of weight high up.

Thats pretty cool, but I imagine rear visibility will be somewhat compromised?

decided i would buy a V and fix it up

JB welded a bit of mesh on the inside.





Then fibreglassed the inside to give it lots of strength.





Then i went over it with some p38 which was sanded.



Then a coat of grey



And as it sits now with its first coat of black.




2nd coat of black 
 

 


and finished

yea, when i first did it with the little VX220 badge in the corner i was the only one, now there are loads like that so im just going to pop this on the front.. hopefully it wont look too bad.
