Na they are different softwares with different leads.
vag-com - enables you to check/remove fault codes, plot power graph, do 0-60 times etc. live data display of the engine sensors while its running, and you can edit a few things etc.
Vag tacho - as far as i know is just so you can edit stuff to do with the clocks.
I'm thinking about getting both. can make a few quid out of doing things for people too.

Thanks to Rams (uk-mkivs) for providing me with a new alarm siren. And for sophie (girlfriend) helping me on saturday night even though it started raining and it was dark. I now have a siren that goes off when the alarm is triggered
I have also purchased a CAI induction kit which relocates the filter down behind the battery for better air flow, should sound and look good Will ge tpics of that up tonight
Edit: Car also achieved 204bhp and 225lb/ft torque on the roling road day on saturday. So im still unsure whether it has been remapped at somepoint or not

Here's one for you, warm air is denser, so move's quicker, so is it actually a good thing sucking in cold air, when it goes through the compressor to the intercooler anyway which is there to cool air...
