Why feel the need to type that on his project & secondly, why try buying it when you have one or just sold one?

Well, heres to hoping...

Should be cracking on with engine sunday afternoon for 3/4 hours.

Hoping to get the head all done. valves out and in again, so i can clean head.

Then get head on, playdough it up and take head off. Hopefully, all ok, then get head bolted down properly.

May get further, may not get that far. But its better than its at at the min

Quick update.

Me and dan went to my work sunday for an hr or so.

Got both cams now turning freely. Needs more taking out of each, so that a safe clearance is acheived.

We took the valves back out, so that the head can now be thoughly cleaned once its all sorted.

Quick corsa UP just to finish off round the edges with the underseal:

Excuse the orbs

Got some slabs for the track tyres:

And then decided that they will be sent for full refurb and some bright yellow powder coating!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Started prepping the outer shell with some wet and dry that was laying about:

Then went and bought a trigger bottle, fairly liquid, pack of wet and dry and done some more:

Its flattened the lacquer pretty well, nice dull surface now. Gonna do it all over again tommorow to make sure i havent missed any. Gotta do doors, wings, fibreglass boot, bonnet and rear bumper to!

cool project......I think rear disks are a must have for track days, when the rear drums get very hot, what do they do? expand, then the automatic shoe adjuster adjusts further out. when you go back to the pits the drum cools down and retracts, this in return gives you a very very jammed on rear brakes
